Dr. Romanelli x A Love Movement - Dr. Love Collection spring 2011: Down vests
Dr. Romanelli collaborated with A Love Movement for their Dr. Love collection for this spring. The results are some dope downvests.
“Both of these Los Angeles-based brands share the ideal of recycling the discarded past in order to create something fresh and contemporary. Through their individual apporaches to reconstructing vintage garments DRx and Tetsuzo have joined forces to create one of a kind items whose production process leaves no environmental footprint. The fusion of Romanelli’s recycled panel techinique with Tetsuzo’s colorful vintage patch naratives and cashmere-reworked lettering creates a dynamic and playful dialogue of meaning and form.”We don't have any information on where to get these yet, but as soon as we know more, we'll let you know. BAPE x Original Fake - Spring/Summer 2011 Collection
While the BAPE spring/summer collection disappoints me, the collaboration collection is much more interesting. The two brands present a small collection consisting of a hoodie, t-shirt & 2 tote bags. The hoodie and t-shirt both a re available in two colourways and each product features artwork of the dissected Baby Milo by KAWS. This collection will drop February 26th.
